OUR STORY

After 6 years of working with 3D printing, we decided to try and fix some of the biggest problems we saw in the industry. These issues were; unnecessary plastic waste caused by plastic spools, poor quality of some of the filaments available on the market, and the carbon footprint caused by shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada. Our solution to these problems was to become the first manufacture of 3D printing filament in Alberta and the first to offer cardboard spools to promote higher sustainability in the industry.

Shopping Information

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
Due to delays in the opening of our storefront, we are not open for local pickup. To compensate for this, we are offering free local delivery until the launch of our storefront is finalized. You can view the available shipping options offered by Canada Post during checkout.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PACKAGE?
Orders will be packaged 1-2 days after the order confirmation is received on our end. Shipping times will be determined by the option chosen during check out. Our current options through Canada Post are 3-9 day delivery, 1-7 day delivery, 1-3 day delivery, and 1-2 day delivery across Canada.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We can ship our filament internationally and will provide extra recycled packing material to decrease the chances of shipping-related damages to our filament. However, we unfortunately have less control over the cost and increased shipping times that come with international shipping.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
We currently accept PayPal and most credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and more. Cash will be accepted in-store as soon as the storefront is ready for launch.
IS BUYING ON-LINE SAFE?
Yes it is safe, no credit card information is ever stored or accessed by us. All information goes straight through the payment provider of your choice. (ex. credit cards are processed by Shopify Payments and PayPal transactions are processed through PayPal)

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
You can place an order online or come visit us in-store when that option is available. If you have any special requests or would like to make a bulk order/ become a reseller of our filament, please email info@canadianfilaments.ca
DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?
No account is needed to place an order. The accounts are available for those who would like an easier way of keeping track of past orders and to help you have a faster checkout.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
Here at Canadian Filaments, we are dedicated to perfecting our filament formulas. So if you have any issues with our filament please let us know so we can replace your spool and work towards fixing any issues. We will also accept returns exchanges on filament still vacuum sealed for up to 30 days after purchase.
HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
If you need to change or cancel your order please email info@canadianfilaments.ca with your order number and what you would like changed/cancelled before the package is shipped out.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
If tracking is available with the shipping option you chose, you will receive a tracking number in your order confirmation email that you can follow.
