Printed this PLA at 218 degrees, printed the same as my other standard PLA filament. Has a nice color thats pretty much right in the the middle of shiny copper and oxidized copper. Has a slight variation in color throughout the roll that gives a nice effect. Has just the SLIGHTEST bit of odor. I print in a 10'x10' room and after leaving my printer printing all night with the door closed it smells just slightly like warm plastic in the morning. To be clear the smell was very faint, but I haven't noticed any smell from any of my standard PLA filaments.
The color of this filament is simply amazing, even better that it is produced locally in Edmonton! Like the rest of their filaments it prints well too, never had an issue with stringing or receiving wet filament.
I do lots of mechanical prints for prototyping, and even vice jaws for my cnc mill for some light duty work, holds up well! did i mention extruded in Edmonton Alberta??? ive seen the line (thanks for the tour Alex!) .
You cannot go wrong!
Have not received it yet
I wouldn't be saying it was the best stuff I've ever used if it wasn't true, it prints insanely well, it has a nice copper sheen to it but is also stronger than all of my other PLA.
I've almost used the whole spool up already cause it's that good! I've made some RC wheels and a spoiler for it.
I would highly recommend this filament to others.
We chose to tackle some of the greatest flaws we found in the business after 6 years of working with 3D printing. These problems included needless plastic waste from plastic spools, low quality filaments on the market, and the carbon footprint of shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada. Our solution to these issues was to become Alberta's first 3D printing filament manufacturer, as well as the first to offer cardboard spools to support industry sustainability.
