Copper Penny PLA has rapidly become a favourite for printing decor around the house. The shiny finish looks great and I've made sure to buy more just to have it on hand.
Just make sure you actually check the label before you start printing it, this one needs a higher temperature that most of the PLA. I had to turn down my model cooling fan as well to avoid ruining prints. I really like that the label on the spool has the spool weight on it - maybe add the density in g/cm^3 so I can plug that into slic3r to get good estimates?
The Copper Penny filament prints beautifully. We are very happy with it!
Been printing nonstop for a week
There are a couple prints I've been making that require a tighter tolerance fit. Thankfully this filament fit the bill to keep the spacing where I wanted it, instead of shrinking too much. Very happy with both the quality and colour.
We chose to tackle some of the greatest flaws we found in the business after 6 years of working with 3D printing. These problems included needless plastic waste from plastic spools, low quality filaments on the market, and the carbon footprint of shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada. Our solution to these issues was to become Alberta's first 3D printing filament manufacturer, as well as the first to offer cardboard spools to support industry sustainability.
