    Granite PLA

This is a great filament. Flows nice and smooth and is easy to print with on a Prusa MK3S+ and a .40mm nozzle. I like the color and texture, and it comes off the spool nicely. And being manufactured locally is a big plus.

Great Filament - Not So Great Adhesion

The filament came in pretty quickly since it was within city and prints beautifully. A word of caution though - after about three hours of printing, the filament tends to start losing adhesion to the bed if the material on top isn't heavy enough. Printed out a Benchy beautifully but would always fail printing out a larger print around the 3-4 hour mark, and it would always be the supports that would shift. Printing quicker so that by that point there would be enough material so there wouldn't be a shift solves that problem, but I would refrain from printing, say, multiple small things at once like miniatures.

Other than that small hiccup, it is once again a beautiful filament to print with and really spruced up some D&D terrain prints and a great mask. Will definitely buy again

    MORE FROM THIS COLLECTION

Environmentally friendly, high quality filament in Alberta, Canada.

We chose to tackle some of the greatest flaws we found in the business after 6 years of working with 3D printing. These problems included needless plastic waste from plastic spools, low quality filaments on the market, and the carbon footprint of shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada. Our solution to these issues was to become Alberta's first 3D printing filament manufacturer, as well as the first to offer cardboard spools to support industry sustainability.
