    Great filament, troublesome spool

As I wrote in my other review, this is a top-notch filament. While I appreciate the low impact/environmentally responsible cardboard spool, it just doesn’t hold up. At least the two I have. Both of my spools are delaminating and causing small bits of cardboard and cardboard dust to infiltrate the filament. One is bad enough that I have had to stop the print to clean it off.

I do recommend this filament highly however.

    MORE FROM THIS COLLECTION

Environmentally friendly, high quality filament in Alberta, Canada.

We chose to tackle some of the greatest flaws we found in the business after 6 years of working with 3D printing. These problems included needless plastic waste from plastic spools, low quality filaments on the market, and the carbon footprint of shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada. Our solution to these issues was to become Alberta's first 3D printing filament manufacturer, as well as the first to offer cardboard spools to support industry sustainability.
