This resin is derived from corn and is biodegradable. The filament is 1.75mm in diameter and is sold in 1kg spools.

(Disclaimer!) This is an experimental PLA filament and the formula is still being finalized as it is currently more brittle in its filament form than your average PLA. However, we have over 250 hours of successful printing with this filament and are very impressed with the results we are getting. This PLA adds a soft matting effect and textured surface to your prints which is great for hiding layer lines and making your prints look amazing. This is our favourite PLA we have created to date and are looking forward to developing it more in the future.

This stuff is awesome. It is now one of my favourite filaments to print will. The textured finish is really neat and offers a new finish to your prints. Even though they say this stuff is experimental and brittle, I've had no issues with this stuff. I've printed it on my Prusa Mini+ and CR10s Pro V2 without issue.

We chose to tackle some of the greatest flaws we found in the business after 6 years of working with 3D printing. These problems included needless plastic waste from plastic spools, low quality filaments on the market, and the carbon footprint of shipping thousands of kilograms of filament from China to Canada.
